This technique produces a durable and long-lasting finish, far superior to basic decorative silver-plated costume jewelry, which typically features 5-7 times less silver.

Acid gold plating, originally developed for the electronics industry, offers excellent wear resistance and makes for a great alternative to fine jewelry.
